Dr. Sanija Bajramovic
Endocrinologist
Dr. Bajramovic is a Board Certified Physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She has been in private practice since completing her Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Chicago in 1997. She was Section Chief of Endocrinology at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago from 1997 to 2008. From 1998 to 2018, she was affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and held a faculty appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine as a Clinical Instructor. She currently practices endocrinology in the outpatient setting. Dr. Bajramovic is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Diabetes Association, and the Endocrine Society.
Her practice philosophy is a comprehensive approach to endocrine issues, with emphasis on prevention of disease development and associated complications.
Dr. Bajramovic was born and educated in the former Yugoslavia. She received her medical degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia in 1987. In 1989 she moved to the United States, where she continued her medical education. She completed her internal medicine residency at Grant Hospital in Chicago in 1994. She is married and has two children.
